It's a Small World

“It’s a Small World” to get FastPasses

On our last trip to the happiest place on earth, we noticed these little things had popped up.

Rumor now is that when “it’s a small world” holiday opens on November 10, it will have FastPasses. It will run as a test, but if all goes well, FastPasses will remain .

Honestly, I’m hoping the test does not go “well.” The line for “it’s a small world” moves pretty quickly and usually doesn’t get too long. FastPasses make lines longer; you slow down the line so that a few people can get through it quickly. I would not be surprised if the line doubles in length. We probably will see the line go up in the overflow section most of the time.

The entire park is more crowded than it used to be. But, the difference between Matterhorn before and after its recent Fastpass addition is a really good example of how FastPasses can make standby lines longer and clog walkways.
